Do you do any meditation? Sometimes - and I don't tend to have *nightmares*, only weird dreams - meditation, right after I wake up, will let me zonk back to sleep. I doubt it would help if it's a "wake up, shaking in terror, and you're wide awake" nightmare, though. This depends on your still being kinda-sleepy and easy to distract.
And, to add to the others, if calling me would ever help you get back to sleep, you're always welcome to call.
