Meanwhile....
Somewhere, in all the hiking up and and down and around Waikiki, I realized that my knee is better.
Not *all* better; I still can't quite squat all the way down. But I can walk as far as I want to. I can kneel, at least for a few minutes. I can bend it almost all the way. I'm actually finally starting to feel like I'm living into my own body again, instead of a cheap, semi-functional rental body.
I can walk to the grocery. I can dance, at least a little. I can move again. This makes me happier than anyone could imagine....
