Coffee avoidance - I too liked the smell but not the taste til Nov '07. Then a doctor told me to go drink a strong cup of it to bring down a bad headache, and so I walked into the cafe and asked them to make me the creamiest, foamiest strong coffee that they could... and what do you know, that cafe breve (a latte made with half-and-half) was pretty darn tasty.
I also have a salt tooth moreso than a sweet tooth. I once wandered through an entire chocolate convention and didn't sample til I got to the lone chips-n-dips booth :)
I sit through movie credits out of respect, too, but the occasional Easter Eggs make it easier to keep the commitment to do so. That and the desire not to miss anything!
