don't you remember? The hippogriff had some ferret stuck in his teeth and of course you can't use just any ol' floss on a hippogriff, 'cause they're proud creatures, ye know. And this particular hippogriff was fond of blue and sparkly blue is the bestest of all! And when his teeth were all nice anc clean you stuck it back in your jacket pocket and never took it out. at least, that's the way I remember it. ;)
