Some years back a friend enthusiastically recommended to me a then-new series called "The Wheel of Time." Having gone through many years of frustrated waiting for other series, I told her that this time I was going to wait for the series to be finished before starting it. Funny how these things work out... (so, yeah, still waiting.)
