you made it further than I ever did! I was less annoyed with the length of the books and wandering plot than with the incredibly willful stupidity of every single main character in refusing, for no readily apparent reason, to communicate with any other character. I gave up around book 7, though I own 8-10. I suppose it's possible one or more of the characters will redeem themselves in the last books, but I don't think I'll be reading them to find out. :|
