Not The Best Day

You know what I would really, really like?

I would like to NOT get thrown headfirst into the wall by a crazy patient on the same day that I woke up with a headache after having nightmares all night.

As long as I'm being greedy, I would also like to get more than 4-5 hours of sleep a night, but lately that seems to be too much to ask. I'm honestly not quite sure whether this is better or worse than my standard insomnia; I'm getting enough sleep to stay alive and mostly functional, but I've spent most of the past month in a fuzzy gray fog of fatigue. It's almost enough to make me think that what I honestly need is to just stay up for 24 hours, to reboot my entire sleep cycle.

Barring that, could those four hours of sleep at least not involve stress nightmares about my father?

Also, I would like a million dollars, a castle, and my own private tropical island. With manatees.

Ah. Um, patient, not client. Calling the police on an over-enthusiastic pooch is generally not very productive. :)

For what it's worth, it could have confused me, too... (and I was a bit confused about the nature of the animal throwing one into a wall - was this a flippin' *farm animal*?) (If so, was it a chicken? You can't trust chickens too much.)

I was wondering about that myself, having noted the wording. Which leaves me with...how did a dog throw you headlong into a wall?

Also - at least it wasn't a cat. That would have been embarrassing.
