The mask is a long story. :) I originally saw it displayed in Davis Square as part of their Art In The Square program last summer, and I sighed and stared at it for a month or more. Then at Arisia this year I saw it again on Dealer's Row; it turns out the artist who made it was vending there. I tried it on, fell in love with it, and decided that it was a gorgeous but impractical waste of money.

So apparently umbran snuck back and bought it for me, and gave it to me for Valentine's Day. :)
