It is not bad. In fact, it's really great. Take what good you can, try not to think in terms of bracing yourself for the next wave of bad, and enjoy what you have.

And, as I'm sitting there, I hear the voice of my spiritual master, saying, 'Swami: Wherever you are right now is perfect.' And I thought, you know, he's right. And it's a good thing, too, because I was in that exact same spot for twenty minutes.")
