It sounds a lot like what hit me in Mexico. Although I was only actively sick for about 8-12 hours, I was incredibly weak the next day. I couldn't dress myself without pausing to rest. I could barely stand for more than 5 minutes. Thank goodness new_man was with me the whole time.
