Behold, My Beautiful Creation!

Okay, I didn't exactly create it. But it's still mine, and I am utterly in love with it.

I had the last session of inking for my dragon tattoo yesterday. 7 hours under the needle total, though I'm supposed to go back in January for one last follow-up to make sure there's no touching up needed. And the finished project is just as glorious and bright and beautiful as I imagined it would be....

My tattoo artist is amazing; if anyone local is ever looking for an artist I can't recommend John at Chameleon strongly enough. Not only is he incredibly talented and creative, he is enthusiastic about your art, and takes an active part in making it even better than you imagined. And he's an enormous geek who can talk for hours on end about horror movies, theory for the coming season of Walking Dead, and ElfQuest comics, which is a major bonus in my book.

I wonder how long now before I start hearing the niggling voice in the back of my head telling me what I need drawn onto me next.....
