Hm... Spirograph has been around for ages... I think it pre-dates me, so that doesn't narrow things down. But... being of an age to use it would. Goonies mid- to late-80s. Quantum leap was, IIRC early 90s. How many years younger than me were you, again? :) I'm going to say it is 1991.
