Zip-a-dee-doo-dah!

It's very, very late. I am extraordinarily tired, and I can't honestly explain why I'm still awake. My incredibly lousydamn schedule has me working 120 hours in two weeks, including back-to-back 15 hour days. My shoulders are sore, my mind is empty, and my social calendar is bleak.

And none of this can possibly bother me right now, because...

They're opening a Penzey's Spices store in Boston!!!

(as someone responsible for at least a dozen postcards in their "Get a Penzey's in Your Town" contest, I feel that I have the right to gloat at least a tiny bit.)

My heart is almost as light as my wallet will be. Pardon me, please, while I do the Happy 'Sprite Victory Dance of Joy.

:) (: :) (: :)

I knew there was a reason I thought you were cool. Penzey's just sent us a package with twice the amount of cinnamon we ordered (and paid for), plus a little thing of lemon pepper. I'm not going to complain about their prices for a long time!

The great thing about having a Penzey's in your town is getting to go smell the wonderful herbs and spices in the store. Things you didn't realize you couldn't live without will jump off the shelf into your basket.

COOLNESS! I really like the Christina's spice place, but please let me know when the Penzy's opens. THAT would be a fun shopping trip!
