I Don't Understand Me

There's something amusing, in a pathetic sort of way, in the fact that while I have no problem sticking my hands into various cavities of different animals both living and dead, I can't bring myself to clean out the gunk in the bathtub drain. For some reason, the latter registers in my mind as too gross for human comprehension, in a way that horse colons never will.

There can be no truer testimony of love than the fact that my sweetie is willing to take on that frankly disgusting task for me, just so I can wallow in splashing, scented, uber-girlie comfort for an hour. I am not worthy of such dedication.....

"I don't get to avoid the drain cleaning job, as I have some of the longest hair in the household. :)

Are you free either Wednesday or Thursday for dinner? I can make it up to Boston one of those evenings if you'd like. Be nice to see you when you're not going through hitching insanity."

Arnis obviously thinks you are, and so do we. I agree with you about the stuff in drains. ICKY!!!

Our usual rule here is, the one who uses the tub clears the drain afterwards... I would be much more grossed out by performing surgery. But I agree it's nice to have someone do the things you don't want to deal with! (He kills the icky bugs...)

LOL and picking myself off the floor!

quote OF the day.

I often wonder if I should have spent $$ on typoing lessons.
