Sometimes, though, being overly imaginative and unable to turn off your ability to visualize can be rewarding.

Like when I went to the grocery this afternoon and, while wandering through the produce section, found the big sign for 'Broccoli Rabbi.'

I was unable to find any of the employees for the department to inform them that that is not, in fact, the plural of rabe....

You know, that may seem funny to you, but that's just because you've never tried to line up someone to do a bris for a green vegetable. If you had, you'd be GRATEFUL that the broccoli rabbi was so thoughtfully marked with signage.

FWIW, one of the local supermarkets just finished an expansion and remodeling project. Now, one of the aisles is clearly marked "Stationary" - which, I suppose, is to reassure folks that it won't be moving any time soon.
