I Suppose That's One Way To Do It

Apparently, the strategy behind One A Day's Weight Control vitamins is that taking one makes you nauseated enough that you can't eat for several hours.

It's effective, I guess. Unexpected, unpleasant, and overpriced, but at least they do have a measurable effect.

Why are you taking weight control vitamins? The dogs outweigh you as it is...

I hadn't noticed an obvious need for weight reduction either, but I suppose I am trained not to. Is it possible that you have clothes that are getting too tight?

That being said, most non-amphetamine weight-loss things involve some sort of 'appetite suppressant' which can normally be perceived as mild nausea. If you want to lose it without feeling ill, I suggest eating more broccoli (or other green vegetables), drinking more water, and dancing more.

While I wouldn't put it quite that way, I was wondering the same thing.

For multivitamins, I take Flintstones (or the equivalent).  I've never learned to swallow pills, so I prefer chewable vitamins.  Since they're made for kids, they're tasty, but they have the 100% of the RDA for adults.

Me neither! Good to know it's not just me.

Because I was out of vitamins, and the store didn't have the One A Day Women's multivitamin I usually take, and I had a choice between Men's Health, Carb Control, or Weight Control. It seemed like the least evil of the three....

Ah, OK. Makes sense. Probably not a good idea long-term, though.
