Melty

It's amazing how something as simple and perfect as a grilled-cheese sandwich can turn a cold, achy, tired night into a happy, comfy, pleasant night.

As a matter of fact, I think that a grilled cheese sandwich, an oversized sweatshirt, and a mug of tea after an evening spent cold and awkward in uncomfortable shoes might just be the closest I've ever come to a transition into perfection.

Sometimes I like being easily pleased.

For me, it wouldn't be perfect without a bowl of tomato soup

Indeed

Actually, I prefer mine in a mug with just a couple of drops of Tobasco sauce.

I haven't tried hot sauce in my soup, but I usually add some garlic powder to the grilled cheese sandwich.

I usually like being easily pleased -- or at least easily amused -- in part because I generally don't like being in a pissy mood (the exception being those times when I just want to revel in my pissiness). Being easily pleased/amused means it's relatively easy to knock me out the mood and make me smile.

I'm very happy to say that Teem seems to grasp this, and is extremely talented at finding the right shiny/soft/yummy thing to cheer me up. :)
