Downtime

Oh, boy - a free weekend! One where I don't have to travel, don't have to work, don't have family obligations or anything! Two whole days off.

All I have to do is get my car inspected, get to the hospital for x-rays, help a friend pack, go to a Halloween party in another state, call the mortgage broker, visit the house we're thinking of buying and start measuring rooms, buy new sneakers, go to a concom meeting, email all of the Intercon GM's with their tentative game schedule, go to a birthday party, spend 20 minutes a day in cervical traction, work out reconstructions for two 16th-century Italian dances, and figure out meals and grocery shopping for next week.

I wish I were back in vet school again. Things were so slow and easy and relaxing then. On the other hand, I absolutely can't complain about not having anything to do....

Please tell me this has something to do with your neck.

Neck and left arm, yes.

Thanks. I confess this was not the first thing that ran through my mind when I read your post, but I did go off and google "cervical traction" at which point I learned about various neck pillows and associated devices.
