Choices, choices

Hmm.....

Should I be a responsible daughter-type and go home to NJ to visit my mom for Christmas? Understanding that, on the one hand, my sister is out of the country and that if I don't she'll be childless for the first time on the holiday, but that on the other hand, I just saw her for Thanksgiving and that she has significant numbers of friends to celebrate with on her own.

Or should my sweetie and I take advantage of the fact that we've both got a week off and a smallish-but-decent chunk of disposable income, and run away on our own together for an Exciting Vacation Adventure?

And if the latter, where should we go?

(I think I hear Disney World calling my name. Heck, maybe we can take my mom with us, and get both the vacation and the brownie points.....)

Absolutely adventure.

Also, mind shooting me your work itinerary for the next week or so? The pup's ear is bugging her again, and last night when I cleaned it out, there was fresh blood. :( I might have cleaned too hard, I dunno; there was a lot of gunk in there. I figure another course of the stuff you prescribed last time might help, but I also figure you know better than I do. *heh* Thanks.

Hmm. I'm up in Dracut tomorrow, then Friday I'm at Hancock Animal Hospital in Quincy 10-5 - that's not too far away, and it's an incredible clinic. I *think* it might be bus-accessible, even - I'll double-check and find out.

If that doesn't work, I'll be in Haverhill on Monday, Carlisle on Tuesday, and Quincy again next Friday (Wednesday and Thursday are both up in the air). Let me know which works best, and I'll send you the contact info for the clinic.

Friday actually sounds most do-able. Should I call the clinic and make an appointment? Thanks!
