Public Service Announcement #42

Dear Humorists of the World,

The spleen has been used, overused, and abused by you and your writers for years, and at this point has ceased to be intrinsically funny.

The pancreas has now replaced it as the Organ of Comedy, with special focus on the Islets of Langerhans.

Please update your records accordingly.

Thank you,

A slightly punchy Voice of the Consumer Populace

[They came] "...from little towns with strange names like Smegma, Spasmodic, Frog,
and the far-flung Isles of Langerhans"
