Sulky And Shameless

I'm a good person, right?

I make the world a better place. I save lives. I fix tiny, tiny puppies and little fluffy kittens. And bunnies, too. Can't forget the bunnies.

So..... the world owes me happiness, right?

And, given that I am not happy right now, and the ephemeral things that I need in order to be happy right now aren't particularly forthcoming, the world and fate owe me material happiness. Right?

To be specific, the world owes me a Brute Force Leather Victorian Underbust corset. Size 20".

It makes sense to me.

Actually, I'm even of the rather arrogant opinion that this might just give the world a chance to make at least a few people rather happy. And my husband deserves some cheering up right now, too.....

While I'm at it, I think the world owes me a new pet snake, a full night's sleep, and some peace of mind, but I'm not holding my breath.....

Size 20"? Have I mentioned I would kill to be that skinny?

You definitely deserve to have that corset. I know mine certainly cheered me up. :)

Just for the record, I don't actually have a 20" waist. That's just the size they recommended, based on my real-life, not-nearly-as-tiny measurements.

Though if they can lace me down to 20" I will sing their praises in perpetuity.....

Neither of you need to be any skinnier, and trust the discerning male eye: You're both juuuuust fine. In fact, here -- have a sandwich. We worry.

I think you just wrote what I was thinking.

Indeed. What [livejournal.com profile] filkertom said. You are the perfect shape for you. (Perhaps a bit more muscle would not go amiss, but only if it were the sort that helps you avoid future manglement of your knees.)

My corset is either 24" or 26", which is smaller than my actual waist, so I'm still bigger. I'm just frustrated because I'm having problems maintaining my weight right now.

You might not get laced down quite to 20", but it will still do wonders...
