And My Twelve-Step Relationship With Joss Whedon Is Reset to Step One
My summary of the next-to-last episode of Dollhouse, or at least the important parts:
Dr. Saunders, to Victor: "Come with me to this lab, which we shall call.... this lab."
Alan Tudyk: "I think we should call it YOUR GRAVE!"
Dr. Saunders: "Alpha! Curse your sudden yet inevitable betrayal!"
And the show is suddenly made not merely watchable, but is in one episode redeemed from all its previous miserable mediocrity. Though, incidentally, when did Alan Tudyk become incredibly buff? I was nearly incapable of paying attention to the second half of the episode due to the distracting immenseness of his biceps....
Oh, Joss. You promise me SF, beat me up and lock me away with Eliza Dushku for most of a season, and just when I'm ready to run away for real again you shower me with love and awesomeness. I don't know if I'll ever get the strength to walk away again.
