Huh.

One of the techs at work just pointed out to me that there's a picture of me in one of the veterinary reference lab's service directories/manuals. (Idexx's 2009 Guide, for those of you in the biz.)

I have no idea of how I feel about this. I didn't believe her at first, but she showed me the picture and there's no question about it - if nothing else, I recognize my engagement ring. And the pens in my lab coat pocket, and the body language. And, in retrospect, 2 years ago I remember some of the lab staff taking pictures while installing computer upgrades at one of the clinics I do relief work at.

Still, it's kind of odd and surprising to come across that. Seriously, of all the pictures I'm sure they had (none of the other photos in the book are even from the same clinic), they chose to use that?

I keep running into pictures of myself in the oddest places. I suppose it's working as desensitization therapy, though, if nothing else; the more I see them the less I'm getting freaked out about it.....

I'm glad it isn't as freaky to you, but I'd be annoyed if my photo appeared suddenly in a manual.

Oh, I'm sure I probably signed something. Like I said, this was at least two years ago, and I didn't think they'd actually take my picture - I think they had everyone working there sign some kind of release.
