way to spend a hot summer afternoon

In an air-conditioned movie theater, watching a big, blockbustery, fun, not-necessarily-too-thoughtful movie, complete with popcorn, artificial butter flavor, overpriced soda, and a friend or friends. Ideally followed by going out for ice cream and rehashing all the awesome bits of the movie.
