Lifetime is making an Original Movie about Lizzie Borden.

With Christina Ricci in the title role.

I know it is likely to be a train wreck of epic proportions, and I know that my judgement is skewed by the heavy mind-altering medications I'm on right now, but.... I think I need to watch this. If only to try to figure out what the blue hell they were thinking.....

My guess is they were thinking 'wow, we have Christina Ricci under contract for one film, who should we get her to play?'

Either that or they're trying to spice up their image.

While she clearly will be no Elizabeth Montgomery, I have no problem with casting a grown-up Wednesday Addams in the title role.

What gives me pause is that it will be a Lifetime original.
