Personally, I am way envious of anyone who considers 7 hours of sleep extravagant. My "minimum maintainable" sleep budget is 8 hours, I'm much more coherent with 9, and I stabilize (when I can; usually only when unemployed) at about 9.5.

Hope this perspective helps a bit...
