Good Idea/Bad Idea

ladyspriteMemo to myself: it's probably not a good idea to watch a Michael Crichton movie about hemmorhagic fever while eating raspberry sorbet with your fiance who is currently suffering from a fairly unpleasant case of bronchitis.
Only the movie's sheer medical ineptitude and vast distance from anything even vaguely resembling reality has saved me from a case of the screaming hypochondriac heebie-jeebies, and even so I'll probably have nightmares about evil monkey-spit disease for the next week.
Oh, and in the land of even more unpleasant coincidences, I've just managed to turn on my stereo to listen to a musical about the cholera. Please, god, don't let me get sick tonight....
