I have had to put up with similar crap at my winter job. I was written up because I made my fellow employees feel stupid. I'm sorry if you can't manage to put reference books (clearly marked by the way) into the reference section or if you put Erica Kane's biography in the non fiction section then you are stupid. One woman took such a dislike to me that she has waged a three year campaign against me and even turned someone I have known for 10 years against me. For me it is easy to say screw it - unemployment pays better than that. However your situation is less maleable. I would try some of the other things suggested to you - but start keeping an eye on the job openings in your area. No job is worth it if it makes you come home and cry.
