Alas and alack, woe betide me; it seems I shall not have a part in 'Midsummer Night's Dream.' Callbacks are tomorrow, and my inbox is full of spam and fury, and no hint of being called back.

'Sokay. I don't mind. I know that there are many, many actors around here far more skilled than I. I wasn't really counting on getting a part, anyway - the important thing is that I auditioned. I tried. And this way I have more time to myself, to work on projects of my own.

Yeah, right. And if I say that enough, it'll eventually sound true in my own ears. Until then, I think I'm going to go bury my face in my giant stuffed Opus doll and have a good, long mope.
