Things To Learn Before I Die
Sep. 1st, 2004 10:54 pm1) How to turn a cartwheel.
2) How to tango.
3) How to use my new digital camera.
4) How to play a musical instrument. Any instrument. I'm not picky anymore.
5) At least one hobby that will make me a vaguely useful and supportive member of a social circle. Any social circle. See above.
6) How to speak a foreign language fluently.
7) How many tomato plants is enough, and not too much.
8) How to ski.
9) How to survive in a group of more than six people without either rambling meaninglessly like a great dork or freezing in terror like a jacklighted deer.
10) How to sleep for more than six hours at a stretch, preferably without nightmares.
11) How to use an endoscope.
Or maybe I'll just run away and join the gypsies. I wonder if they accept well-intentioned dorks....
(Don't mind me. Just getting a few things out of my system before the con starts - hopefully if I leave them here, they won't follow me around all weekend and trip me at inopportune moments. I really am fine....)
