Celebration

I suppose I could wait until Saturday to post this, but today feels like a better day to celebrate one particular person....

You've been my friend for seventeen years now - half my life.
You've been my love for thirteen of those years, through ups and downs, long-distance and living together.
You've been my husband for four of those years, a fact which still surprises and delights me.

Life with you just keeps getting better and better, and I can only imagine where it's going to go from here. I can't imagine the shape of my world without you anymore, nor do I ever want you. I'm so glad you came into my life, and stayed here.
