All My Problems Should Be Like This
Apr. 14th, 2010 05:46 pmThe nice thing about working steadily - good, solid, all-day-every-day work - is that I'm getting paid a decent amount of money on a regular basis.
The bad thing about working steadily is that I can never actually get to the bank when it's open to deposit the damn paychecks. I have an embarrassing amount of money sitting in my schedule-book, in the form of undeposited paychecks, and it's utterly ridiculous that I can't pay my bills because I can't turn them from checks into actual money.
I also find it ridiculous that my bank's "expanded, friendly hours" are 10am-4pm. While that may be friendly to their staff, for people who can't work flextime it's a major pain in the behind.
With any luck I'll be able to remedy this situation on Friday, but in the meantime I'm torn between giggling and beating my head against the wall in frustration....
