Where Am I?
Mar. 7th, 2012 10:47 pmI have been horribly remiss about updating here, and for that I apologize - as much to myself as to anyone reading; I like keeping up with posting for myself as much as for anyone else. But for the past few weeks I've felt completely overwhelmed and out of time.
I'm not sure why - I've been working, and other than that, I'm not sure what else I've been doing. Working on crafting projects and costuming, and having folks over for tabletop games, and trying to keep up morale, which has been harder than I anticipated. And at the end of the day I just wind up exhausted, drained, and generally unable to do much of anything beyond melt into the sofa and try to get my ducks in a row for the next day.
Intercon is over, though, and I'm happy with how my games went and how my costuming turned out, especially for the game where I played a washed-up, drugged out punk singer, and had about 4 days to assemble a costume out of my closet and my imagination. And I've got a few crafting projects that should be fun to work on, and time planned with friends, which is good at the same time that it's stressy.
And the days will be getting warmer and longer, which will make me feel like I have more time, whether I actually do or not. So things will get better, and I will do my best to remember the things I wanted to write about here....
