ladyspriteIt's off to War I go - by this time tomorrow I'll be fully immersed in the rustic charm of my first Pennsic.
I certainly hope going to Pennsic is more fun than preparing to go to Pennsic; otherwise I might cry. This week has been seven flavors of heck trying to get everything ready. But I think I've managed it. I don't have any more sewing left to do, I've packed everything I could imagine needing, I've finished up my work assignments and we've got a cat-sitter arranged and the directions are downstairs near the door and if I haven't had enough time to rehearse the dance I'm supposed to know or organized a syllabus for the classes I'm helping to teach, well, I'm supposed to be able to think on my feet.
Besides, running away for a week or so means not having to think about quandaries here in the mundane world.
I'll see y'all in a week and a half. Wish me luck and fun, in the meantime....
