Hey, if you feel moved to share your explorations into Latvian culture, I will read with particular interest. I'm apparently a quarter Latvian-sorta[*], and know very little about the culture.
[* Well, that's a Jewish quarter, so I have no idea how much my ancesters participated in the matrix Latvian culture around them, or were isolated in their own shetl culture.]
