Thanks to everyone for your advice on the jewelry-and-formalwear question - I wound up having an extremely talented and helpful friend put together a necklace for me on the spot, and I think it worked quite nicely - definitely better than a bare neck would have been. Anyway, since y'all helped me figure the ensemble out, I thought you deserved to see what it looked like....

I've always wanted a dress with that cut, but I've never been brave enough to buy one that went *quite* that low in back before. Now that I have, though, I love it... :)
