Celebration Time!

ladyspriteIt is absolutely glorious outside.
The sun is shining, and there are little boofy white clouds all over, and it's warm enough that I don't need a hat and gloves and scarf and legwarmers and a heavy ankle-length coat. In fact, it's jacket-and skirt weather, for the first time in living memory.
I've opened the windows in the house, and I'm sitting here on the sofa without a stack of blankets a foot thick burying me and making it hard to type. I can actually contemplate salad for dinner instead of hot food. Outside, there's mud and half-melted slush all over, sucking my boots when I walk and making the world smell like almost-easter. It's wet and messy and I am in heaven.
I've got meetings to go to today, and games to play tonight, and writing that really ought to be done, but what I honestly want to do is go outside to play. Maybe I'll at least have time to go for a walk before I have to settle down and start Accomplishing....
