We live on Main Street, literally, in our town, which also happens to be a Trick or Treat HAVEN. We get so many of the little critters, we never have candy left over, and we get a LOT of it :-).
It's so much fun.....all of the places we've lived before were just not very accessible for that kind of thing, although we really used to try. Kai and I would dress up and wait....we'd get like two kids.
Since living here, we have a couple of friends who come up every year and celebrate with us. Annette and I would usually take our kids around for tot'ing, and the guys would drink beer, sit on the porch and hand out the candy.
This year, it'll be different -- I've got this big tummy issue, and Annette has a nursing baby, so we'll be manning the home front and the dads will be taking the kids around...
It's also Kai's birthday, so we try to make the evening as festive as we may.
This year, Elise is wearing a ghost costume, patterned after one my grama made for me 32 years ago.....
