Game done. Ran fairly smoothly, noone stormed out or quit halfway through, noone pointed and laughed or called me names or tried to drum me out of the community. People apparently actually had fun, for the most part - go figure.

Tired and headachey at the moment, but overall recovering from a pretty good weekend.

That game was beyond a doubt, my favorite of the con. Thank you for blessing me with character intensity, supportive player interaction and raw gaming fun.

Their parlor was a nexus for Washington DC society. Everybody who was anybody wanted to be invited. That seems to me like something rife with possibility. You have the costuming of the Gilded Age, and the personalities of presidents and senators and congressmen. You also have Washington socialites, diplomats from all over the world, and the occasional visitor from Podunk.

The permanent cast would be the Five of Hearts: Henry and Clover Adams, John and Clara Hay, and Clarence King. Around them you could put all manner of people.
