Physical exercise & movement is, actually, an excellent way to process and reduce stress. At least, as I understand it, much of the problems of "stress" is our body preparing us to move, violently, and us not doing so. So movement processes those hormones in a way that is intended, and reduces the bad effects on our bodies. You've been talking about having lots of stress in your life lately -- this wanting to move makes sense to me.
