Someone put a $5 bill in the penny jar I take from clinic to clinic with me to collect for the Susan G. Komen 3 Day walk.
I managed to get out of work on time today, the office cat I spayed yesterday is doing fine, and a client told me that I made a difference to them, and helped them feel a lot better about a difficult situation.
Our garden is growing like crazy, and we should have enough cucumbers to fully cover this weekend's cooking project with some to spare. Liquid pectin was finally acquired, and blueberry jellies are cooling in the fridge.
The library had both a book on CD and a DVD that I had requested waiting for me, and I found a Carl Hiaasen novel (OK, a collaboration) that I haven't read before while I was browsing the shelves. With a title like 'Naked Came the Manatee,' how can it be anything but awesome?

umbran and I stepped out to walk to the library, we managed to catch the tail end of a five-minute sunshower, and saw the rainbow arcing over our maple tree and the neighbor's house. I may be missing dance class tonight, but it meant that I had enough time to just stand there for a moment and watch it, and appreciate it.
Mood reset - and with luck, I'll be able to keep it that way.
