How about "Pippi" (as in Pippi Longstocking)?

Or "Annie" (as in Little Orphan - "The sun will come out tomorrow!")? (I don't like "Annie" as a call name as much.)

Anne of Green Gables was another spunky redhead, but again, a rather boring call-name.
