Sometimes Things Go Well

A simple one, today, and a longer post when I get the chance.

I am grateful that the Mississippi Personhood Amendment did NOT pass. Sometimes my faith in humanity is justified.

It didn't just lose, it lost big, 58-42. I imagine that its supporters were hoping for better than a 16 point loss, considering Mississippi is one of the - shall we say - conservative states in the nation.
