Missing It

ladyspriteI know it swallowed immense chunks of my time, both in planning, prepping, and in the actual execution. I know that it meant that, for three years, my summer wasn't quite my own. I know that I said I was ready to move on and find new ways to make the world better. I know that it's a crazy amount of work, and that my friends are rather tired of being begged for money.
But still, every time I hear a commercial for the 3 Day, I remember what it felt like to be part of such a huge, world-changing event and I want to do it again, and it takes all of my resolve not to sign up for this year's walk....
