Things I Want To See

So I'm listening to WERS's Saturday morning Broadway radio show, and I realized something.

A revival of 'The Wiz,' with modern hip-hop, stepping, and pop-and-lock dance, would almost certainly be completely epic. You wouldn't need to change much of anything else; the music is pretty close to the roots of R&B, and the rhythms are all there....

I want to see this, now.

Have you seen the Wizard of Ahhhs by Todrick Hall and Pentatonix? It's not the Wiz, which an update does sound awesome, but this made me think of it.

I have; I didn't really like it that much - I'm not a huge fan of that style of music. And the update of 'The Wiz' that I'd like is more due to the dancing; I just realized that the rhythms would lend themselves perfectly to stepping....
