I just applied for a job at the zoo.  They're looking for a part-time vet, and a friend pointed me towards the application....

I know my chances of getting it are slim to none - they want someone with zoo experience; ideally board-certified.  And I know if I get it that it won't be all sunshine and roses and cuddling cute tiger cubs - it'll be weekends and holidays and horrible weather and hard work.  Not to mention the massive pay cut.

But... if I don't at least apply for it, I'll never know.  And if by some strange miracle I do get the position... I have to admit that it'd be pretty damn cool, and an experience worth having.
