I just got home from seeing 'Da Vinci's Notebook.' My sides still hurt from laughing. I've seen them before, and I'll see them again, but I would just like to state for the record that I absolutely love and adore that band.

And, as a reward from the universe for surviving last week, they sang my request (Werewolves of London). Actually, it was more like a rather confusing but fascinating and ultimately marvelous medley that wound up somewhere around 'Wish You Were a Thrilling Uptown Werewolf of Alabama,' but they made it work. And now I am the proud owner of a broken 3 1/2 inch mouse driver disk that belonged to one of the band members. This will shortly go into my Box of Cool Junk, to keep company with my autographed pair of Weird Al's boxer shorts.

Dancing last night, concert tonight, movie tomorrow. I think I might just start to enjoy life again.....

You clearly won the best prize for the evening -- you got the only one that can be stored long-term without having to worry about whether it is sufficiently sanitary...
