An Observation
Oct. 25th, 2005 03:09 pmHey, Big Guy In Charge Of The Weather!
Yes, you. You with the beard and the long white robes, who somehow bears a strong resemblance to a big redheaded dude with a strong protective streak and poor impulse control, and yet also looks a lot like a busty round chick, and sometimes when I squint right has a kitty-head, or maybe antlers -
Anyway. I digress. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that I am in West Virginia. *West.* Not north. Not Virgarctica. As a matter of fact, I am several hundred miles south of my primary residence in New England, which is not at this time being snowed upon.
North means snow. West and south means, in any rational universe, less snow. It is October right now, and I am really not ready to handle this freezing white stuff you're tossing my way. Please, could you send it back where it belongs, or at least hold onto it for just a little longer?
Or, barring that, if you're going to insist on sticking me into a universe that defies logic and rules, could I grow pixie-wings and shoot rainbow beams of happiness out my eyes? Because that makes about as much sense as snow in the southern half of the east coast before November....
