Reminder

Just a quick reminder for anyone who might be interested in coming - I'll be meeting people for brunch tomorrow at Joan and Ed's Deli in Natick around noon.

It looks like it's going to be a fairly smallish group, which can actually be kind of nice. It'll be low-key socializing and yummy food and a nice way to start the year, and there might be an outing to see 'The Producers' later in the day.

If you feel like joining us, let me know. Meanwhile, have a happy New Year's Eve!

I know I don't usually use this journal to post links or spread news, but this article caught my eye due to professional interest, and I figured it was the sort of information that it was important to spread around as far as possible.

Diamond brand dog food has recently been associated with the death of several dogs, due to contamination with aflatoxin - the full article as at http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/12/30/toxic.dogfood.ap/index.html

If you have a dog, you should know this, and make sure your vet knows. If you bought the food, call the company; they've ordered a recall. If you're a vet, or a vet student, keep it in mind.

It probably won't impact anyone I know, but forewarned is forearmed and all that.

It's That Time of Year Again

2005. Almost all done, already, and I had just started getting used to it. It doesn't feel like a whole year - I've always known that as you get older time goes faster, but I wasn't quite ready for it to run this quickly yet.

Anyway.... ( what have I learned from 2005? )
