A Request

Dear Summer,

Please come back. I miss you, and I am not ready for you to be gone yet. I still have shorts to be worn, and tomato salad to make, and walks to be taken, and skin that needs the sun, and hikes to be hiked, and ice cream cones to be eaten.

I know you have to end eventually, but please - a few more weeks? I promise to revel in them to my fullest ability....
